SHILLONG: Run Meghalaya, which organised the first Sohra Marathon, held on Thursday, in collaboration with the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, released results of the marathon and half marathon on Friday.

The marathon was run on the open road from Upper Shillong, while the half marathon began at Mawkdok Bridge. The finish line was in Sohra Saitsohpen.

It also announced, on its Facebook page, that a full marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km walk/run will be held on December 18, with further details to follow.

Run Meghalaya had planned on an ultra-marathon between Shillong and Jowai on July 16, but organisers of Behdeinkhlam, with an eye on traffic worries, had requested that no race be held on that day.
