Tribute to Wahumkhrah

Steadily, I stepped into this world.

In my path I often saw a not so clean, a stream.

It would smell rot and be strewn with coloured elements of dirt.

Oh! How have I grown along these years

Proud of being what the world has made me into

I learn and still learn what the world teaches me.

I learnt that the stream is

The Mighty Wahumkhrah

Whose wrath knows no bounds in the monsoon.

The coloured elements all gone.

What a world can do against its wrath.

But Alas! The world has yet to realise

That however you make the river cry

Nothing stands when it is in her glory.

So why dishonour her.

Has she not made everyone before and after me

Realise, who she is.

Does she not deserve the love and respect by all?

No more shall we be a part of this savagery and shall

Stand together to make our world our river clean.
