SHILLONG: On the occasion of the 3rd death anniversary of Asom Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, Assam Club, Laban, will hold a memorial programme on Nov 5 at 5 pm.
Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly, Sanbor Shullai, noted academician Prof. Helen Giri and Director, State Cultural Affairs Department, M. War, will attend the programme as chief guest and guests of honour respectively. Noted singer Lou Majaw will attend the cultural evening to be organized on the occasion as a special invitee.
