Quality of PHE water questioned during Assembly

SHILLONG: Replying to a query from Paul Lyngdoh, Deputy Chief Minister in charge of PHE Professor RC Laloo asserted that there are no complaints for heavy sedimentation of water supplied by the department.

However, Lyngdoh argued the statement made by Laloo saying that the minister had admitted that there was a lot of sedimentation as dams were being constructed the previous year.
