Shillong : A priest washes the feet of a Catholic faithful as part of the Holy Thursday observance at the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Laitumkhrah. The act symbolises the washing of feet of his disciples by Jesus Christ, an act of extreme humility, at the Last Supper on Thursday prior to his Crucifixion the next day. (ST)
