TNT Sputnik down Malki

SHILLONG: TNT Sputnik defeated Malki CC by one wicket in the Super Division Shillong Cricket League, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo Grounds.

TNT Sputnik won the toss and elected to field first. Malki scored 132 all out in 34.4 overs. Sylvester Mylliempdah scored 55 while Chaman Pusp took three wickets for four runs.

In reply, TNT Sputnik chased down the target in 31.1 overs for the loss of nine wickets.

Tarique Sidique scored 42 runs and Chaman Pusp scored a rapid 34 off 17 balls while Dathew Syngkon took 3-22.

Meanwhile, in the B Division, Boys Of Gorkha defeated Clique United by 38 runs.

Batting first Boys Of Gorkha scored 170-10 in 17.4overs. Washim top-scored with 58 runswhile Terrence took three wickets.

Clique United fell short of the target, scoring 132-5 in the alloted 18 overs. Amitesh scored 39 runs while Tarique took two wickets.

In the second game Dishari defeated SOS by 75 runs. Dishari scored 209-7 in 19 overs batting first. Rohit scored 36 and Luhit scored 34 runs, while Henry took two wickets.

SOS were then restricted to 134-7 in 19 overs. Jerry scored 49, while Kuku Anal took a couple of wickets.
