SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma has slammed the NDA government at the Centre for failing to address the issues faced by Congress ruled states, particularly Meghalaya.
Interacting with a group of editors here on Thursday on the third anniversary of the MUA-II government in the State, the chief minister said frequent visits by the Union ministers have not helped Meghalaya in any manner.
Stating that the visits of the Union minister are just casual, he accused the NDA government of doing away with many schemes and programmes which had been approved by the UPA government for Meghalaya.
