Body found afloat in Ganol river

TURA, Feb 26: Police on Friday evening retrieved a body from Ganol river in Edenbari area, outskirts of Tura, after the local headman was alerted by local anglers.
The body, which was found afloat the river and is of a male in his 20s, was noticed by the fishermen in Chandawari part of Ganol river.
It was following this they alerted the Nokma of Masumatagre, Edenbari, who in turn contacted the police.
The body has, meanwhile, been shifted to Tura Civil Hospital for post-mortem and identification purposes.
