NSWC chief visits murder victim’s family

KOHIMA:Chairperson of Nagaland State Women Commission (NSWC) Sano Vamuzo visited the family of the victim, who was raped and murdered on July 20 last at her own home at Kirha village on National Highway 29.Sources said Ms Vamuzo was in Dimapur yesterday to visit family members of the rape and murder victim of Kirha village.She also held a meeting with the colony members.Pouring out her condolence, Ms Vamuzo said such incidents have become an everyday occurrence and that the NSWC would do everything to seek justice for the victim.The State Level Consultative Meet organised by the NSWC scheduled for July 29 will take up the issues pertaining to such cases in Nagaland, she informed.
