Shillong: Two labourers were killed and two others injured when stones rolled down at a quarry in Ri-Bhoi district bordering Assam on Thursday.
The two labourers were buried when stones slid down while drilling at a stone quarry at Tilang Katta not far from the Assam Chief Minister’s official residence at Khanapara bordering the two states, a senior police official said. Two injured were rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, the official said. (PTI)
