JOWAI: The Sein Raij Ialong’s Behdeinkhlam-the most colourful and important religious festival of the Pnar people belonging to the Niamtre concluded with religious fervour here on Wednesday at Pyrda.
Deputy Chief Minsiter, Bindo N Lanong, PHE Minister, Shitlang Pale, Wahiajer MLA, Sniawbhalang Dhar and former Jowai MLA, Sing Mulieh elders of Sein Raij Jowai, the Dolloi Jowai Elaka were witness to the festival besides hundreds of spectators.The festival on Wednesday began with a ritual at the priest’s official residence in the wee hours besides other rituals including Knia Khang, Shympiah Blai and Tyngkhain Bhang.
