Hazare effect felt in Mizoram

Aizawl: A Large number of people are expected to attend an anti-corruption rally in here on Thursday under the banner of ‘Mizoram against Corruption’ in support of activist Anna Hazare, who is fighting for a strong Lokpal.

The decision to hold this rally was made during a meeting of 42 representatives of various civil organisations under the chairmanship of vociferous corruption watchdog Prism (People’s Right to Information and Development Implementing Society of Mizoram) at FW Savidge Hall here on Wednesday.

”The ‘Mizoram against Corruption’ rally is scheduled to held at 1500 on Thursday in front of Vanapa Hall, in the heart of the city,” Prism president Vanlalruata said. (UNI)
