UP ATS team to assist in probe

LUCKNOW: Anti-Terrorist Squad(ATS) of Uttar Pradesh despatched a team to New Delhi to assist the police in the investigation into the blast that occurred outside the Delhi High Court on Wednesday.

Special Director General of Police (Law and Order) Brij Lal told reporters here that though the Delhi police have not sought any formal help from UP, a team has been sent to find out whether the terrorists responsible for the blasts have any link with the state.

” An ATS team from western UP has been sent to Delhi for coordinating the investigation,” he added. (Agencies)
