JOWAI: The Satpator Elaka Dorbar awarded the 3rd Meritorious Award 2011 to twenty three students from within the elaka for their achievement in Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), Higher Secondary School Leaving (HSSLC) and degree and master degree Examination conducted by MBOSE and NEHU respectively this year.
Local MLA, Lahkmen Rymbui and JHADC chief executive member, Lamdibok Sumer attended the ceremony as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Among the 23 awardees, four were HSSLC, one BSc, one M.Com and the rest were SSLC.
The Dolloi Satpator Elaka along with other elders of the Elaka and prominent residents were also present on the occasion.
