Assault condemned

 SHILLONG: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Meghalaya State Unit has condemned the brutal assault on Palan Pal, a senior citizen in Tura by a police officer of the rank of DSP during the puja procession.

According to NCP, the assault has raised concerns about police high-handedness and the government’s apathy towards the feelings and sentiments of the citizens of Tura.
