Militants nabbed

Imphal: Five militants were nabbed in separate incidents during the last 24 hours.

Troops of 23 Assam Rifles and 30 Assam Rifles launched a joint operation at Pangai and Waiten of Ukhrul district today and apprehended two People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak.

The two were identified as Aribam Bishwaroop Sharma and Nameirakpam Samu. Three militants were also nabbed yesterday.

Troops of 28 Assam Rifles launched an operation area and apprehended one People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak from Waithou of Imphal West district. He was identified as No.795130 SS Sgt Wahidur Rehman of Lilong Yambi Leikai. (UNI)
