NYKS organises three-day cultural festival

 SHILLONG: Water Resources minister A. L Hek on Wednesday stated that youths build the future of the country and they need to progress in the right direction.

Attending the inauguration function of the three day Yuva Kriti and State level cultural festival organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Shillong, A.L Hek said the festival provides a unique opportunity for the youths to show their craftsmanship and skills.

He also lauded the NYKS for organising workshop on youth development programme.

Nearly 50 cultural troupes’ youths from various districts of the state participated and almost to 20 stalls representing various Self Help Groups and youth Clubs from different districts of Meghalaya will exhibit their products.
