Zionnghaka, head of the worlds largest family celebrated the 101th birth anniversary of Challianchana (Zionnghaka’s father) on 27th October 2011 at the ‘Chhuan Thar Stadium’ in Baktawng village (Serchhip District) around 80 km from Aizawl, Mizoram. The 67 year-old Zionnghaka lives with all his 39 wives, 94 children and 33 grandchildren in the house of new generation named ‘Chhuan Thar Run’.The cult ‘lalpa kohran thar’ founded in 1942 by Khuangtuaha( an uncle of Zionnghaka) is now spread over four generations with more than a thousand members.
