Extra force mobilised in Tripura border

Agartala: The administration mobilised extra forces and civil officials to maintain peace in northern border of Tripura following the death of a youth by BSF firing along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Kaila-shahar. District Magistrate north Tripura Sumya Gupta said the situation was under control with the intervention of the police and the civil administration while the authority had already begun investigation into the incident. She however, pointed out that the administration had taken sufficient measures to maintain peace in the bordering locations. (Agencies)
