SHILLONG: City based Bawri Nethralaya is organizing the 43rd Annual Conference of the Ophthalmological Society of Assam (OSA) at Hotel Pinewood here on November 11-12.
The theme of the conference is “Pediatric Ophthalmology & Community Ophthalmology”.
Ophthalmologists from the North Eastern states and luminaries in the field of Ophthalmology from across the country will attend the conference.
“The conference serves as a platform for exchange of work experiences, sharing and extending knowledge about developments in the field of medical science. It is a good opportunity for Ophthalmologists in this part of the country to learn, plan, act, strengthen and improve medical activities and services for the underprivileged group of our society and the community as a whole,” said Medical Director and Trustee, Bawri Nethralaya Dr SP Saikia.
“The conference will further promote and strengthen the passion and commitment of health care givers as they continue to treat patients,” he said
