 SHILLONG: The Joint Action Committee (JAC), opposing the construction of the four laning through the existing road at Umsning, has threatened to move court “if the decision of the State Government does not go in its favour”.Indicating this, Donkupar Sumer, a JAC member, on Tuesday said “We have already consulted our lawyer in this regrad. The land owners had handed over their land in 2003 when the NHAI conducted the survey for the project”. He further said, “It is now unfair on the part of the government to re-align the project”.
