New branch
The Indian Institute of Medical Representative (IIMR) recently opened its branch at Guwahati with the aim of training and placing educated unemployed youths from the region with various pharmaceutical companies.
Legal awareness programme
The Women’s cell, Shillong college will organise a community participation programme on Legal Awareness: Domestic violence and atrocities on women and children in Nongmadan community hall, Smit on December 16 at 11 am. Advocate Meena Kharkongor will be the resource person for the topic.
Workshop
A joint workshop of the fishery and cooperation department on the strengthening of fishery cooperative under Aquaculture mission will be held at Hotel Polo Towers on December 14 at 10 am.
