 SHILLONG: Rangbah Shnong, Lower Lumparing Durbar Shnong (LLDS) FB Khongsit, has informed that Mickey Shabong has resigned from his post of general secretary of the LLDS due to urgent and pressing family matters in November 26.

However, as per a resolution of the Executive Committee of the LLDS held on December 10, the committee has elected Evan Kharsyntiew as the new general secretary. Meanwhile, Mr Kharsyntiew has informed that the locality of Lower Lumparing will hold its annual cleaning drive on December 17 and has requested at least one member from every family residing in the locality to participate in the drive.
