SHILLONG: Meghalaya has made it to the final of the BCCI Under-19 Tournament at Raipur in Chattisgarh. Meghalaya will clash with the home team in the final.
The State is the first team from the North-East to reach the final of a BCCI tournament. A win in the final will ensure a place for Meghalaya in the plate group of the main BCCI Under-19 tournament next season.
Meanwhile, the finals of the BCCI Associate and Affiliate Members’ Senior women’s tournament will be played between Chattisgarh and Sikkim, the top two teams in the league table of the tournament. The final match will be played at the Cricket Ground, Polo from 9 am. The prize distribution will be held at 1.30 pm.
