NONGSTOIN: The Mairang unit of Federation of Khasi Jaintia & Garo People (FKJGP) on Saturday donated 64 blankets to differently-abled persons and orphans at the Mairang Indoor Stadium , Mairang West Khasi Hills District.
Taking part in the function as the chief guest, Mawlai MLA Founder Strong Cajee appreciated the initiative taken by the FKJGP Mairang circle for the under-privileged section of the society.
He urged the organization to continue in their good work towards the betterment and welfare of the society at large.
In his speech as the guest of honour, Joe Marwein, working president of FKJGP’s central body, lauded the efforts of the organization.
