TURA: Garo Hills police will quiz Rajpat MKJ Engineering firm manager Ganeshyam Das after his return to the district headquarters to get a clue about his abductors.

Das was released on Saturday night by his abductors at Manikganj bordering Goalpara district of Assam. He was taken to Guwahati for treatment.

Initially it was suspected that the Rabha Vipers Army (RVA) had abducted Das. Later, police began to point fingers at ULFA.

East Garo Hills police suspect that the ULFA leader Dristi Rajkhowa was directly involved in the kidnapping of the manager ever since he was given charge of operating all along the Assam-Garo Hills border.
