London: Hollywood actress Charlize Theron says she has gained more confidence after entering her 30s and is enjoying her single life.
The Devil’s Advocate star says that while most women in their 30s feel the need to resort to cosmetic surgery, she hopes she won’t submit to the surgeon’s knife, reported Daily Mirror.
“I am 36 and loving it. I wouldn’t want to go back to my twenties. Some people have Botox and that’s great. But hopefully I’ll be OK without it. This is what I wake up with every morning so I’d better be comfortable with it. When I was younger I felt I had to prove to everybody I could do the job,” Theron said.
The actress, who split from British actor Stuart Townsend in 2010, said she has been in no hurry to get back into the dating game. Theron also said she wasn’t a popular kid at school and boys didn’t like her.
“I wasn’t really in the popular crowd. I went to art school, where I was obsessed with ballet and I wore really nerdy glasses. I was blind as could be and boys don’t really like big nerdy glasses,” Theron said. (PTI)
