SHILLONG: Royal Wahi-ngdoh Football Club (RWFC) came from behind to defeat Kolkata Techno Aryan FC by 2-1 in the 2nd Division I-League preliminary round played at Cuttack, Odisha on Monday.

The Kolkata side took lead in the 48th minute through a goal by Michael Kumar. Striker Bawari Khongstiah scored equalizer in the 65th minute. The winning goal for RWFC was scored by Mala in the 73rd minute.

Meanwhile, Ar-Hima were held to a 4-4 draw by Green Valley, Assam after leading 3-0 in the other 2nd Division I-League match played at Silchar, Assam.

Ar-Hima’s Nigerian striker Babatunde Badmus scored a hat-trick while another Nigerian striker Kelechi Okaye scored a goal for the Shillong team.
