Six Manipur ultras give up before BSF

Karimganj (Assam): At least six Manipur based ultras ton Thursday surrendered with arms to BSF here.

The four ultras, belonging to United National Liberation Front and one each from Peoples Liberation Army and Peoples United Liberation Front surrendered to M L Batham IG, BSF, on Wednesday night, an official release from BSF headquarter at Masimpur here said.

Five nine mm pistols, one 7.6mm pistol, six magazines, two Chinese grenades and 18 round of ammunition were laid down by the rebels, the release added. (PTI)
