Mrs BW Nongbri has been awarded the PhD degree by NEHU on her thesis ‘Re-examining the American Dream: A study of Joycee Carol Oaes’s later fiction’ under the supervision of Prof Esther Syiem of the English Department of NEHU. Mrs Nongbri is the former Deputy Director of Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Meghalaya.
