SHILLONG: A truck (NLO4G–1766) on its way to Jowai from Shillong hit a pedestrian and went off the road and fell into a gorge near a Petrol Pump at Mawryngkneng, East Khasi Hills on Sunday. The 108 ESA based at Mawryngkneng and Jowai admitted Bili Dkhar, Kamini Paia Shadap to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong, Ibanshimti Thabah to Woodland Hospital, Shillong and Dawni Lywaitto Civil Hospital, Shillong. In another incident, a truck (MLO5F–7354) overturned after it went off the road at Tyrsad, East Khasi Hills on Sunday. The injured were admitted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
