State Youth Congress to prepare report

 Shillong: The Meg-halaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC) has decided a prepare a report on the implementation various Central schemes in the State.

Informing this here on Thursday, the MPYC president Gabriel Wahlang said, “We will be touring rural areas of the state to find out the real picture regarding implementation of the various Central government schemes.”

The touring team will prepare a report, which will be sent to the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Committee.

“If we find any loophole in the implementation of the schemes we will take up the same with the State government also,” Wahlang said.

Wahlang also informed that a 3-day training programme for the youth of the State to impart leadership training with focus on youth empowerment would be held in Shillong in April.

“As we know the State is celebrating the Year of the Youth this year, therefore in the first phase of the programme we would be holding blood donation camps in Shillong and Tura,” the president said.
