Spurt in cases of vehicle theft

 SHILLONG: There is a spurt in cases of vehicle and other theft in the city and state, recently. It is learnt that unknown miscreants stole one Bolero pick-up (ML-05G-3701) belonging to Anand Sunka from Demseiniong Shillong.

In a similar incident, a motorcycle (ML-05A-9868) belonging to Dajied Lyngdoh was stolen from Crinoline Swimming Pool followed by a new motorcycle of Swapon Marak from his residence at Williamnagar, East Garo Hills by unknown miscreants.

Miscreants also stole music system and other items from a vehicle (ML-05G-0440) belonging to Angela Syiem from Bishnupur. In another such incident, unknown miscreants stole music system valued around Rs 17,000 from a vehicle (WB-20B-4015) belonging to Onega Rani from Laitumkhrah. The music system of Dr Paramita Dey was also stolen by unknown miscreants from her vehicle (ML-05F-6832), while it was parked in her residence at Nongkynrih, Laitumkhrah.
