London: Actress Freida Pinto says fame was too much for her after the superhit movie “Slumdog Millionaire”. The 27-year-old felt that her co-star and boyfriend Dev Patel was the only person who truly understood what she was going through during that period, reported Contactmusic.

“If I needed to talk to someone about what happened, he was the only one who knew what was going on. It was nice to have those moments and that experience together. It took a while to accept what had happened. As much as I was happy with what was going on, it was almost too much to take in for somebody who’d never experienced any of that before,” Pinto said.
