International Biodiversity Day observed

Aizawl: As has been observed every year across the world, the International Day for Biological Diversity was also observed today in Mizoram, which was convened by state Environment & Forests Minister, H.Rohluna at DIET Auditorium, Chaltlang, Aizawl.

H Rohluna said that people all over the world are in need of Biodiversity, and since one cannot survive without it, it is utmost importance and everyone’s duty to preserve the Biodiversity. “If we destroy the biodiversity, we are the one who would suffer most” the minister told the gathering at the programme. H. Rohluna emphatically told the gathering about the importance of Biodiversity, and fervently asked the professionals as well as the trainers at DIET to impart their knowledge of the importance of Biodiversity to others and also to preserve it more and more.
