Shillong: The KHNAM, Mawlai Constituency Committee on Saturday confirmed Pyndapborthiaw Saibon as the party’s candidate from Mawlai Constituency for the upcoming Assembly election in 2013.
The Committee also elected new office bearers which included P Saibon as the president, Mangkara Ryndem and Sam Nongrum as the vice-president, F Marpna as the general secretary, Gordon Khongsit and Pynkham Suiam as the assistant general secretary besides others.
The Committee welcomed the former UDP Youth wing, Mawlai Wing president Mangkara Ryndem who left the post recently to join KHNAM.
The meeting also resolved to extend its support to the People’s Movement and the Committee will participate in the sit-in-demonstration to be held at Madan Iewrynghep, Nongthymmai on Saturday.
