SHILLONG: A day-long medical camp was held at Upper Mawprem on Saturday under the auspices of UDP (Shillong West) with the support of Lion’s Club of Shillong. Jaiaw legislator Paul Lyngdoh inaugurated the medical camp in the presence of octogenarian and former Mawprem MLA DN Joshi. Doctors from NEIGRHIMS and Bansara Clinic attended to over 600 patients, one of whom was saved from acute asthma attack by the attending paramedics who rushed him to NEIGRIHMS.
