Shillong: One, Raj Chettri of Madanriting sustained injuries when the bike he was riding bearing the registration number-AP 10 L 6945 was hit by a school bus (ML 06 226) near Madanriting PS here on Monday.
The bus was driven by Ripenshai Sohtun, police informed adding that the injured person was to NEIGRIHMS for treatment.
In another accident case, one person sustained injuries after the bike (AS 01 MA 8656) he was riding on the way from Upper Shillong, skidded off the road due to over speeding at MES point at around 3.40pm on Monday.
The rider was identified as Kalpo Jyoti (20) of Guwahati. The injured was later shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital. After receiving treatment, the person fled from the hospital and the bike is still in the custody of the police.
