Seminar held on valuation of assets

Shillong: With an aim to bridge a gap between the availability of employment in the valuation sector and non-availability of skilled man-power, the IGNOU Institute for vocational education and training (IIVET) in collaboration with the Institute of Estate Managers and Appraisers, Kolkata launched a Post-Graduate Degree course in valuation of real estate to help the youth fit in the valuation market.

Meanwhile, a one-day seminar was organised on the fundamentals of valuations of assets based on the theme – its academics, professions and practices at IIVET, Dhankheti here on Wednesday. The seminar was aimed to impart training on the importance of assets valuation.
