NONGPOH: The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) of Delhi in collaboration with the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) will conduct survey on educational scenario in rural areas of Ri Bhoi district.
The survey will give stress on post-primary educational scenario in every nook and corner of rural areas.
The RBYF took the decision to collaborate with the ASER to go to every nook and corner to find out whether schools in rural areas are properly utilizing the scheme sponsored by the Central government in providing quality education.
RBYF volunteers have been trained by the members of ASER for conducting survey.
The RBYF’s education secretary, S Rangslang said the Federation was ready to work with ASER for the betterment of children residing in rural areas. He urged the village authorities and local residents of those areas to cooperate with the volunteers of the federation.
The ASER was launched in 2005.
