KSU fetes meritorious students

NONGSTOIN: In bid to instill the spirit of competitiveness among the students in Mawthadraishan, the Khasi Students’ Union Mawthadraishan Circle on Tuesday felicitated 12 meritorious students with the Wikliffe Syiem award at a function at the Christian Secondary School, Nongkasen.

The students who were felicitated include Tofostar Marwein, Icymery Lyngkhoi, Lari Bakmen Diengdoh, Ibadondor Marwein, Bisharbniah Thabah, Evergreen Lyngkhoi, Alvareen Lyngkhoi, David Marngar, Johny Marngar, Balapdianghun Sahangoi, Sitabalin Marshiangbai and Sardius Warjri.

Officials who attended the programme included BDO of Mawthadraishan C&RD Block P Mukhim, SDO (PWD Markasa Subdivision) B Kharsynteng, Sordar of Nongkasen ST Thabah, school teachers, students and KSU members.
