lPolice on Thursday rescued two juveniles of Shella Khawmuid from Ambassador Restaurant, Umsohsun and arrested one Dolma Lama for employing them. Police seized 5472ml of liquor from Ambassador at the same time and arrested two other persons of Golden Dragon restaurant, Phusok Tashi and Sonam Wangdi in a liquor case and seized 15795ml of liquor from that restaurant. lOn Thursday at around 3 am, three persons, Clerence Rajee (23), Lastborn Khakai (18) and Shanbor Pyngrope (19) attempted to steal a music system from one Maruti local taxi (ML-05F-5475), which was parked in the premises of Christian Academy School, Wahingdoh. Police arrested the accused persons.

lA complaint was lodged at Mawkyrwat PS on Wednesday by Dr WL Narry, Medical & Health Officer, Mawkyrwat CHC that during medical examination of one minor girl (3 yrs 8 months), it was learnt that the girl had recently been raped by an unknown person. Investigation is on.

lOn Thursday at about 7:30am, the BSF apprehended one Bangladeshi FICN racketeer namely Abdul Hasim (40) from South Garo Hills while he was trying to infiltrate into India from Bangladesh. FICN face value Rs 50,000/- and one Mobile with a BD SIM value Rs.2000/- was recovered from his possession. The seized FICN was meant for circulation in the Indian market.
