Man allegedly murdered by close friends

Jowai: A forty-five-year old man Khli-io Susngi of Nangbah village was allegedly murdered by some of his close friends at Sumer village near Mihmyntdu area in West Jaintia Hills on Friday night.

Police informed that the body of the deceased was found inside a hut located at the ground where the people of the area would illegally organise the bull fight. According to police, the accused murdered the deceased by slitting his throat even as the police informed that the deceased was also robbed of Rs 30,000 and his mobile.

Meanwhile, sources informed that it was the relatives who first saw the deceased.

According to sources, the deceased in fact owned a total number of three bulls which used to take part in the bull fight organised. So far no one has been arrested in this connection.
