SI rescued from BGB custody

SHILLONG: The BSF has secured the release of Sub-Inspector BR Sangma who was apprehended by the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) after he had accidentally strayed into Bangladesh to investigate a cattle theft case on Saturday.

The BSF secured the release of Sangma who is attached to Rongara Police Station in South Garo Hills at a flag meeting with the BGB on Sunday afternoon.
