Rijiju BJP’s poll observer in Meghalaya

Itanagar: BJP president Nitin Gadkari has appointed Kiren Rijiju, former Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal Pradesh, as the central election observer for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Maghalaya. Rijiju, who was appointed on Friday, would look after the affairs of election matters of Meghalaya where the assembly election is slated for early 2013, a party release said here on Sunday. (PTI)
