Kolkata: Veteran Bengali actor Haradhan Bandop-adhyay died at a city hospital on Saturday. He was 86,
Bandopadhyay had been battling for life for the past 15 days. He is survived by wife and two sons.
The actor had worked with Satyajit Ray in several films, including ‘Sonar Kella (Golden fort), Jai Baba Felunath, Kapurush and Mahanagar. He had also worked with other noted film directors. Bandopadhyaya acted in 66 films The last time he was seen in a film was in Barfi, directed by Anurag Basu.(UNI)
