 NEW DELHI: The lone Rajya Sabha member from Meghalaya Thomas Sangma has resigned from the Upper House of Parliament to contest the upcoming Assembly election from North Tura constituency on the NPP ticket. Sangma submitted his resignation letter to Rajya Sabha secretariat on Thursday.
