MCI inspection at NEIGRIHMS

SHILLONG: Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek has informed that the Medical Council of India (MCI) has completed its inspection for recognition of the MBBS degree courses in NEIGRIHMS.

“The MCI carried out the inspection during the practicals of the Final Professional Examination 2013 on January 1 and 2 this year. The final report is awaited,” Hek said while replying to a question raised by UDP legislator Paul Lyngdoh.

He also expressed confidence that the MCI recognition would come soon.
