Murder

lOn March 26 at around 1 am, unknown miscreants murdered one Md. Mazurul Haque (28) in the premises of M/s Subham Espat Company at Byrnihat (RB). Cadaver was sent to CH Nongpoh for PM examination.

lRegarding recovery of dead bodies of Widson Latam (45) and Torman Tangliang (47) from Lumrakhoh (WJH), further report received indicated that in this connection, police have arrested a minor girl on March 23 and forwarded her to Children Home, Shillong, as she was found to be underage.

Theft and abuse

One Sunit Marbaniang lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on March 25 at around 6:30 am, unidentified miscreant caught hold of her, rubbed chilly powders on her face and snatched her necklace at Dhankheti, Shillong.

Body recovered

lOn March 25 at around 7 am, one unidentified male body was recovered from Polo Super Market, Shillong.

lOn March 25 at around 5 pm, one unidentified female body was recovered from Polo Super Market, Shillong.

Arson

On the night of March 25, unknown miscreants set fire to one coal laden truck belonging to one Elbison Sangma at Rongdotchi (SGH). As a result, the truck was partially damaged.

Assault

On March 25 at around 5:30 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Mynthu Ravi Das (20) at Oakland, Shillong. He was moved to CH Shillong.

Fraud and threatening case

lOne Manish Sultania and Shri Lokesh Nathany of Karvy Data Management Services Ltd., lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that one of their employee, Manseng D. Sangma fraudulently collected Rs. 100/- from various PAN Card applicants. On March 25 evening, members of local students association threatened them with dire consequences to issue the PAN Cards.

lOne Mercyda Nongtnger lodged a complaint at Nonghyllam Anti-Dacoity Camp that during the last few weeks, one Domanic Nongbri alias Rimbin encroached into her coal quarry at Nirang (WKH) and threatened her labourers.
