Botany conference held

 SHILLONG: The Meghalaya college teachers in Botany organized the 1st conference of Meghalaya College Teachers in Botany 2013 on the April 20 at St. Edmund’s College.

College teachers in Botany of most of the colleges in Meghalaya attended the state-level conference.

The objective of the conference was to make all the Meghalaya college teachers in Botany to come together to make Botany an attractive subject and to encourage students to pursue their studies in Botany.

An Executive Committee was constituted during the conference to chalk out plans to achieve the objective of the conference as well as to provide future directions for more constructive role of such future conferences.
